Over the past several weeks, I’ve shared a little about my background in parks and recreation, my connection to the Ridge, and my thoughts on responsible planning and public service.
Today, I’d like to hear from you.
Paradise Recreation and Park District serves a large and diverse area, with different recreation needs, facilities, and priorities throughout our communities.
There are important conversations ahead about maintaining existing parks and facilities, developing new recreation opportunities, supporting programs and community events, and planning for the long-term costs associated with those services.
Not every project can happen at once, and every decision involves balancing community needs with available resources.
As we look toward the future, I’m interested in hearing your thoughts. What do you believe should be the District’s priorities over the next several years?
Are there existing parks or facilities that need attention? Recreation opportunities you’d like to see expanded? Services or programs that are particularly important to your family or neighborhood?
I welcome your thoughts and appreciate the opportunity to hear different perspectives from across the Ridge.
